HKG Architects has worked with Northern State University for over 50 years. HKG believes a school grows from the inside out. The Memorial Student Union was shaped to serve the needs of the students, educators, support personnel and public. This building was designed to create an exciting environment using the latest technology and materials. The 21,952 sq ft of new construction and the 24,808 sq ft of remodel were done for an average of $76.17 per sq ft. HKG�s goal of providing flexible and innovative design earned the NSU Memorial Union an American Institute of Architects Honor Award.
