The YMCA has been a cornerstone in the Aberdeen community since 1921. The family YMCA turned to HKG Architects for the creation of their new state-of-the-art NE Regional Health and Fitness Center. With an eye for detail HKG created a nurturing yet flexible environment for families and individuals of every age. The fitness center features a day care, water park, lap pool, racquetball courts, 3 expandable basketball courts, an extensive array of aerobic machines, a track and weight area with a separate specialty center and multiple studios to create the most diverse and functional space possible.
